Sean S. Dorosinski, AAIA, is a Certified Professional Building Designer (CPBD) and New Urbanist. As a studied practitioner of Traditional Design and the classical canons of Architecture he continues to be
inspired and guided by meaningful historic precedent. After receiving his certification in Architecture and Civil Design 1994 he went on to receive a certification in Advanced Traditional Design and Classical
Composition from the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art (ICAA) New York, NY in 2005. In 2017 Sean completed the Architectural history & theory program from the Harvard Graduate School of Design.
As the former Town Architect of a DPZ-master planned Traditional Neighborhood Development (TND) in Northern Virginia, Dorosinski was responsible for overseeing that the architectural standards for the
entire community were met. He also assisted in creating the Urban & Design Standards handbook for the development as well as design several traditionally inspired homes.
His work has been recognized with several American Residential Design Awards (ARDA) for projects ranging from new custom residential to historic additions & renovations including an Aurora Award for a design in the Greek Revival Style. He has been named as one of the top designers by The American Institute of Building Design (AIBD) several times.
